§My research is on the dynamic behavior of granular soil from the macro- to micro- scale. This involves experimental characterization of the dynamic properties of soil materials as well as numerical and analytical methods for modeling granular soil' behaviors. This work draws upon a broad range of topics, including Soil Dynamics, Innovative Instrumentation, Soil Mechanics, and Discrete Element Method. In addition to these primary research interests, I am also interested in the recycled material application in civil engineering. |
